Calibration

Lorijn & Loos MultiFunction BV have our own vertical test bench in co-operation with Gerritsen on- & offshore services BV in Amsterdam. This test bench is equipped with our electronics and several sensors. Giving us the possibility to calibrate all kinds of tension cells and hanging scales highly accurate in the range from 1 upto 30te.

The technique behind

The test bench itself has two 20 Ton compression cells from the brand Ados. These two cells are in parallel connected to a DDZ-3 amplifier. This DDZ-3 has a display which shows the mV/V signal from this two cells. A computer with a serial connection to the DDZ-3 calculates the corresponding tension. As this computer is calibrated with different type of load cell ranges we create a very precise readout. During the calibration it is very easy to create a test report on this computer and print it out.
